Professional Therapy with no fees
This is a special BWRT Unit dedicated to providing expert and confidential care for those who deserve it but may not be able to afford the cost of sessions. The therapy is not a 'cut down' or 'lite' version but the full version. If you are eligible, you will receive the full spectrum of therapy you need. Your only obligation is to attend your session(s) at the date and time your and the practitioner agree upon.
To be eligible, you will be one of the following (proof of eligibility will be required):
- NHS Clinical Staff
- Armed Forces (or recently discharged from Armed Forces and veterans)
- Emergency Services (Fire, Police, Ambulance)
- University Student
- On State benefits
Every practitioner involved in this scheme has a variety of skills as well as BWRT, and is guaranteed to have sufficient clinical expertise and experience to work with the majority of issues. In addition, they are all involved in continual professional development and ongoing clinical supervision, and all are registered with The Terence Watts BWRT Institute. This means you are in safe hands!
Difficulties we may be able to help with include:
- Generalised Anxiety Disorder
- PTSD
- Narcotics and other dependencies
- Alcohol problems
- Depression
- Fears and phobias
- Work stress
Those are the main areas within which we work, though BWRT® is effective with almost all psychological issues. This is a 'fast and deep' therapy that does not require you to confront your fears and anxieties - as long as you know how you would like to feel instead of you feel now, we can help. And usually far more quickly than you might imagine, usually between three and six sessions, occasionally even fewer.
Please note that if your presenting problem could have a medical basis, BWRT practitioners will only be able to work with you after you have had a relevant medical consultation.
Most practitioners can work either face-to-face or via Skype or similar; therefore, if 'therapy' is legal in your location, you can avail yourself of this special service.
The Next Step
Your next step is to type the code VPS into the lower search box on this page 'Find a Practitioner' (on the website of www.bwrt-professionals.com) and contact the practitioner of your choice, either by telephone or email. Say that you're contacting them under the BWRT Voluntary Provider scheme and would like to arrange an initial consultation to discuss your needs.
Many therapists do have a waiting list but will see you just as soon as they have availability.
DISCLAIMER: All BWRT® practitioners are properly insured as professional therapists and run their own practices. They are not employed by the Terence Watts BWRT Institute and the Institute is not responsible for the therapy they choose to provide or for the outcome of such therapy. Provision of therapy is subject to availability and the individual practitioner's discretion.
